Hey Rex, I went to Hobbytown USA today and picked up those Lunsford Tit. Turnbuckles and the heavy duty ball cups by RPM. I didn't get the same color as you though. I got the neon yellow kind. I like the purple that you had but I wanted to be a little different, lol. Everyone around here just uses the ones from HPI, but I like to customize with color, for added eye candy effect. Thanks a lot for your help. Question for anyone.........Are the threaded adjustable shocks lighter than the regulars? Are they any better other than the fact you can adjust the threaded easier?

Did you have to "adjust" the RPM HD ballcups?I had to cut about 2mm off of mine so they would fit right.I think it's because the Tit. turnbuckles are a little longer than stock.I'm waiting for 2 more of the one inch ones so I can setup the rest of it now.I used the long ones for the steering linkage and the center lingage so i'm short two now but it's ok because my car is down for a little while anyway. Some how I melted the hex hubs to the wheels and now I have to get new ones but my LHS doesn't stock them.Does anybody know if I can use the clamp on alloy ones for a TC3?I don't feel like waiting for HPI to ship them to me and Tower doesn't stock them anymore for some reason.

Those aren't the clamp on ones though.I wish Tower would stock the HPI clamp on hubs.I did manage to find the stock ones at my LHS.I forgot that they were sold with the stock A-arms : .So I had to two sets of the stock A-arms just to get the hubs.I needed to put new A-arms on anyway mine were getting pretty flimsy from bashing .I wish I knew why they melted onto the wheels though? The wheel nuts were tight and it didn't strip the wheels out.I just had to scrape the hex hub off the wheel with a screwdriver.I need to figure out why that happened so I don't have to go threw this again.

I think people who got the RS4-3 should get the metal brake kit from tower hobbies.. The 19.99 one.. It’s a single metal brake pad and you glue the asbestos pad onto the metal plates... it works Awesome! Holds great too. the 24.99 one is a big complicated and when installed wrong can end up creating drag apparently.

Hey Rex, you were right, those Lunsfords were a pain in the a$$. I had to keep taking them on and off and keep cutting a little more off each time. I was thinking that if I wasn't so bent on trying to be different, I would have just gotten the ones from HPI and it would have only taken me 15 min to put on instead of 2 hours. The price we pay for originality. Sheesh! And to think, I only saved 5 bucks in doing so.

I told you they were a pain in the arse.If I would have known they didn't fit right I would have gotten the GPM ones or something of equal performance.
