You have a servo saver on yours? I took off the servos and the whole radio setup.. I have a different radio setup.. I have those X type tops for my servo arms. Works like a charm for my brake and throttle. I have a different arm on my brake also. I have an 4-tec arm on it. Blah! But yeah, the idle needle holds back the throttle from being completely closed. I used to have the problem that once I press on the brake the car would want to shut off. So I fixed that sorta

Ok ...its not the idle set screw, thats fine.....the upper and lower stock arm keep moving apart and not springing back.I'll get it,just wondering if alot of people have changed that part.
Getting rid of the reciever tray? Are you talkin about the lil black box that sticks up?Would a new upper deck work?

Try taking out the metal ring and squeezing it together more with a pair of pliers.I didn't have this problem on my SS but I did on my Savage21 and it fixed it.If it's the servo itself thats not going back to center try adjusting your trims and see if that works.

About that fuel tank.....IT SUCKS.Now I see why someone wanted to get rid of that primer(maybe it was Rex) and now I do too.I was preparing to run the car yesterday and I was pumpin that lil thing forever before fuel got to the carb.I was wondering why the tank is covered with fuel after every run...now I know its that lil primer leaking all over.If I had a primerless tank and a pull start....how would I get the fuel to the carb at first?

without the primer just plug the stinger and pull the cord a few times, not hard, just enough to move the crankshaft.

Yeah all you gotta do is put your finger over the stinger and yank the pullstart a few times.I haven't figured out how to take the primer out of mine just yet but i'm still working on it.The primer isn't like the one on my Savage21.This on goes all the way to the bottom of the tank and it looks like it won't come out with some problems. If they got it in there i'm sure I can figure out how to take it out.

What I do instead of playing with the primer is pull the pressure line off the exhaust and blow into it until I see the fuel reach the carb. That gives me enough fuel to start within three pulls. I read somewhere that someone took off the primer and stuck a screw in the hole with some silicone sealant. It seem to work for them. I have yet to try it..
