Will the fantom '03 r12 pullstart/rear exhaust fit on the SS? There isn't musch room between the stock header and the rear tire, so not sure if the rear exhust will pose a problem.

The Rpm's are a good move. Just those darned Lunsfords. Unless you like to grind titanium.....................

After it was all said and done, I've had excellent steering response from them. Almost touchy.

I think I figured out a solution to our lundsford problem. In the "set" for the Rs4 3 their is 4 one inch turnbuckles and two really long ones and two really short ones.I used the two really long ones to replace the steering rod and servo rod and got two extra 1 inch turnbuckles for the read tie rods.It would have been cheaper just to buy them seperatly or get another kind like AE or GPM but now I know and so do you.

Are turn buckles worth it? they seem so hasslish.. I like the idea that hpi just gave us some plastic parts.. snap them on.. and voila.. they are the same distance.. no need to measure.. etc etc..

if you don't think you need em,you probably dont.I like the idea of being able to adjust things though in case the tires arent wearing evenly or something...or I adjust the ride height.

They are worth it if you think you need them. the plastic ones seem to absorb and twist upon heavy usage.

My stock ballends kept popping off so that why I went for the heavy duty ballends. The turnbuckles were just an upgrade I wanted to do.I could have just used the stock turnbuckles and HD ballends but I had the extra cash for the turnbuckles.

Mine kept popping off too. I was going to just get ball cups also, but I decided to get the turnbuckles then because I figured I was going to get them eventually, so I just killed two birds.........

Well I was at work and found this web site and read all the notes , ideas and look at the posted photos and could not wait to get home and register and pos replies. I like the forum.

About the fule tank, I have replaced the stock tank (bottom feed, primer puump) with a top feeder, no primer pump. and have had better luck. I am here in Texas and when running in the 100 + heat on black tops and racing on parking lot race track you get fule foaming and boiling which will cause air bubbles in the fuel feed line causing the car to stop running ! Cured it.

I have modified the suspention so that:
    1) the rod ends DO NOT POP OFF (front and rear)
    2) the toe and camber can be set
    3) the tie rods and steering links have hemis on both ends that can not pop loose.
