    Status: offline     		I'm trying to tune my Rs4 ss but it doesn't seem to be shifting into 2nd. Any help is appreciated. Also what temp is best for these engines? o.s. .15 cv-x, .12 ss, traxxas 2.5. I have these and just want to make sure i'm treating them right.

    Status: offline     		Another question. I'm getting no grip at all in the parking lot. Someone told me to lower the car. another said i need foam tires. I see here a lot of you guys have rubbers and it seems your doing fine. So what's the secret?

    Status: offline     		Yes to prime the car without a primer you just hold your finger over the pipe and pull on the pullstart a couple of times and it's primed.

    Status: offline     		is your car setup the way the instructions said?Have you got the engine broken in?Stock tires? the stock tires don't grip too well but they last,I had to add a few spring clips to tighten the suspension but was never really happy till I got the new shocks,different oil might help too.Does the rear end bounce?See what else you notice and post back.

    Status: offline     		I run on a pretty dirty, smooth lot. With the stock setup I was slipping all over the place. I put 40wt oil, blue front springs, and sway bars and adjusted my driving style, not I have a very controllable car. The back end still gets away from me at times, butat least I can control it now. I would start with the shock oil first, springs quickly next and sways last. As galaxy said, tell us how your car is handling.

    Status: offline     		The engine is broken in and it has plenty of power, a little too much for me since it I can't keep it straight lol. Still won't shift in 2nd but since i can't keep it straight I can't tell if it's set right or not. I got some traxxas tires from a friend. looks like the're from a 4tec. I don't know if this will help, but the tires my rs4 came with are pretty beat up. I'm going to give all of this a try. I'll let you know the results.

    You can get a rear exhaust kit. I posted a link a few pages back, LOL. I wanted the actual thing, not just the look. No offense Galaxy. Just my preference. I keep regular tuned pipes to race with, sometimes....LOL.

    Status: offline     		I have a custom bent header extension so I can run a tuned pipe out of the back but it still wouldn't look scale,that does,at least for an import.

It looks like I'm going to have to catch up to you now in the aftermarket parts department.I just ordered the HB center support for the tranny and I'm thinking about getting the Wolfpack Radicals 2speed.I've been to busy playing with my Savage and my poor SS has been sitting on the shelf for a few weeks.
