Ferrari is the best choice if he can afford it of course...280.000 Euros is much...that's the price for the F430.

I'm having a problem with my car not shifting into second gear. I feel that I have it tunned very well and at high RPM runs super nice. But wont shift into second to save my life. I spent almost 2 hours the other day running it and working out all the bugs. It's been about 2 years since I last ran her and she needed a good flush. What could it be? Someone please help. Thanks, Joe

If it is not shifting gear, here is a trick that you can pull. Take the two speed out and check the 2 speed cam or 2 speed clutch. Take a hex screw driver or something that is small enough to poke at the cam arm. If you take the hex screw and press on one side of the cam arm, the other side that comes out during high rpm should be able to lift up. If it is able to lift up easily, the car should shift fine. If you have to poke hard at it before it comes out, then you have it set tight. If it does not lift up, you have it completely in and should loosen it. Hope this helps.

To all again, its suppose to be the area around the glow plug is wet (can't find any leaks). And lastly, is it necessary to cut hole at the windscreen area?? I was thinking of having the side window down....Good??

Have you ever taken the glow plug off? There's a chance you might have lost that ring underneath the plug.
I had this problem with mine too. Take off the glow plug, drain the fuel and let the area dry, put the plug back on and make sure you tighten it.
Do you get any sizzling sounds with it?

Make sure that the ring is on and tighten the glow plug again. Also you should break in the engine before starting hitting the trotle! That's VERY important. So keep the current engine settings and run 2 tanks at idle while car sits off the ground. Remember: NO THROTLE! Then run 2 more tanks while car sits on the ground but without exceeding half throtle. And finally 2more tanks onelike before but with some full throtle runs and one in order to make adjustments.

Once you did break in one way or another it's good. No need to worry. That's my personal method. So just adjust the needles and you will be ok.
