Simply go to your Local shop and get one! I think the rotostart uses the same backplate nut as the pullstart. So just a get a pullstart tat fits. I think that the 3.0, 18ss and T-15 engine use backplates of the same so any of these pullstarters fit. But I'm not 100% sure!

I was just surfing around and found this link http://www.rchardware.com/index.html This is a great little tuning option and there are setup sheets at the site that can be downloaded. I may buy one for each of my cars and trucks-takes a lot of the guess work out of getting that engine right each time.

wow...its been about 2 years since ive been on this site.

i think its time i get back into HPI nitro on-road car's, and some more nitro drifting.

does anyone remember a tuned pipe that was made of stainless steel, and had a burnt finish on it? i think it was a team pipe, but i cant remember who makes it.

Hey phoenex1, I saw that before and thought it was cool. However, I don't think it is necessary. If you break your engine in properly by temperature, you will get a good setting. From there, you can make minimal adjustments for your day to day weather changes.

Hey one-syk, I can't help you there. Won't stainless steel add weight onto your car? Burnt finish? Or do you mean flare (multicolor burn)? It would be cool to have a flare exhaust tip.

I understand the concept completely but,If you look back through this thread at how many tuning questions and discussions come up I thought it was a good tool to pass along and it isn't like it weighs a pound-LOL

Mr. Brown just dropped off my RS4 Evo+. I got the Cuda body becasue I didnt like th eother ones.....It looks awsome sitting on top of my big screem .

Installing a reciever so I can run it with my DX3R tomorrow. Going to power it with an OFNA 800 MAH battery. I have a spare one from my CRT.5. I'm going to add some springs in between the break pads so that they dont drag. I also noticed that the fuel line coming out of the bottom of the tank is hitting on the pinion gear and awfully close to the two speed! It need a filter too.

Does any one know where to find that clear under body liner? I get really anel about getting the bottom of my rad cars beat.

the underside is going to get beat up no matter what you do, if you use it.

to space the gas tank up a little higher add a washer, or o-ring between the gas tank and the post it sits on, then put the screw back in.

the first mod's i would do is a better brake disc, port the manifold, tuned pipe, fuel filter, longer fuel line from the tank to the carb, and the primerless fuel tank.

the stock plastic/"graphite" disc is garbage...get the brown kevlar or carbon one from HPI..it grip's awesome!..the pad's are fine...maybe scuff them with some fine grit sand paper if you want, but i think most leave them alone.

    i personally like:

    fantom racing pipe
    cvec pipe
    O.S. pipe

but they all basically do the same thing...the cvecc is tunable, the O.S. is just a basic pipe, but its made in japan, and the fantom is great quality, and noticable gain's throughout the rpm range.

its all personal prefrence really...get what you like, and what fits your budget.
