hey.. I flipped it around.. and I used Tire Glue and a zip tie.. Fixed it like a charm! no more leak.. and it doesn't starve the engine as long as you have it on right, if you don't.. it will mess up... I'll take a picture now and post it.. I've experienced fuel leak constant and it's been a pain.. Mine doesn't even go into second gear.. How would I know if it goes into second gear? .... and second of all.. the Clutch shoes .. like didn't grab on.. I dunno what happened.. but I took it apart and put it back together and now it's fine again.. argh!.. what dar heck!..

No No....tighten it all the way down and then back it out ...I'll say 3 turns but the book says 2,that should be a good starting point.

Aha! now I know where I'm going wrong... and the clutch shoes.. there are three holes.. I have the pins in the very first one.. and my buddy's rs4 racer 2 kicked my butt I think i have to set it in the middle hole or the other direction.. it takes forever to get going..

ahhhhhhhhh... hmm... ... blargh.. so I'll try the second hole..

Hpi.. I have a 4-tec with a hyper 21 2 wheel drive.. that really was a wreck.. I'd steer and the momentum would make it flip over itself 4 times.. that's put aside for now though cause it's boring after awhile of just burn outs and not going straight.. pretty much broken ... just took it out last week for the first time.. it's in pieces in a box now..

well.. let's keep this up.. my new updates on my hpi rs4... I got a fiber brake.. and then tower hobbies decides to cooperate with the bank and with draw the money.. so now I have a nice metal brake and another spur gear which I don't need.. GREAT!... well the spur gear can be extra... my hpi doesn't want to spin out anymore.. :-\... I finished a mercedes body with my traditional Metalic silver/blue paint job. I'll let everyone check that out once I get pictures... I tried cutting out only the roof and the front vent... yep.. that doesn't keep the engine cool enough.. you need to have windows cut out.. :-\ drats.. it was worth a shot.. I finished up work on my 4-tec.. it's going up for sale. Took it apart completely cleaning, re painting, re sanding, cleaning up. going to sell it for around 400-500 at least. Put alot of money into that. I made a new body for it too! New head for the hyper 21 on it also. New servo arms, new brake setup, new tires and rims..

Anybody have GPM drive train hop-up parts on your RS4 3 ? Stay away from it, I've got a bad experience of those parts like rear univerals, rear center universals, and aluminum bell crank. These parts does not last long. I used mine for less than a gallon of 20% fuel and these parts already show a lot of wear. Drive pins of the shafts starts to pop-out by themselves, while the bell crank plastic bushings also stars to wear off, thus, increase in steering slack making the car uncontrollable at fullthrottle. If you plan to upgrade your drive train, I would suggest that you might as well consider getting MIP or Hot Bodies, they are much stonger. Price wise, Hot Bodies is much cheaper. I've tried to get in touch with GPM in Hong Kong and they responded to my inquest, with that, they might replace the "worn parts" once I send to them these parts, but after my reply, I never received any response. I am still using the rear universals after I fixed temporarily the problem while the center rear shaft went to its reetirement, anytime from now, I can junk these s***ts to the garbage, as I now have my Hot Bodies universals.

I still have my trusty Tamiya Electric front wheel drive car. It runs awesome in clean asphalt track. But it lacks off the line acceleration compared to other 4wd drive touring cars, but once the car is set up right it can catch up with the other.
