I don't see Josh in the pictures. He was the youngest competitor or the day with his dad assisting him with I think another Hangar 9 Mustang. A great sight to see.

Ron Woodrums Kyosho FW190

Mayhem Marty is stepping away from his Hangar 9 P-51 in this shot. His wing came off later in the day. And that's Kimo's fugly mustang with the flames on the flight box stand.

That's Casey, aka "Leadfoot" in the camo jacket. Right up front. Ron Woodrum aka "Woody" is dead center with the white hat.

Caseys Mustang

Ollie and his Kyosho Spit

I think Chad is in the blue shirt centered in this pic.

Nick,
I'm trying to see if anyone has the matrix from round 4 then I can check to see where the numbers got jumbled up. I hope they still have it.

UPDATE:
Nick,
When I'm at home I can probably rebuild the 4th round and get the results corrected based upon times and cuts. After looking at the 4th round there were a bunch of breakouts and so correcting the scoring should be pretty easy. I'm very sorry for the error. I caught a few others during the day, but it was extremely crazy on the matrixing and scoring end. As of right now I have to keep the finish order, but I know the points are wrong. You should at minimum have 2 points, but if I can show that the other 3 pilots in your round DNS/DNF, or broke out, or had higher times I will be able to adjust your scoring accordingly.
Skids

Thanks for looking into it, I'd just like it for the season high points is all, I know you were swamped with the big turnout and everything.

I thought I had 9 points total on the day.

Looks like 9 with a time of 8:39.2 if I am getting the numbers right. One other pilot was missing 2 additional points as well (I believe). We still have the matrix/scorer sheet so I'll check the numbers on it as well next time I'm out at the field..... if you PM me your email I'll send a excel copy to you with the "tentative" changes. We will have the official changes posted soon as well.

As a side note, I show that you did finish in 3rd, but due to 1st and 2nd breaking out you should receive 1st place points (4 points).

Sorry for the error.

Thanks for the Pilot/Plane updates. Just a few holes to fill now. Does Ollie still have the Spit or did it go down, I can't remember?

Chance has already got another racer on the workbench to replace the Old Crow. From the pick he has for the model he is doing it looks to be rather dashing and slick, it echoes of the days of Tsunami.

Are you guys going to post the results here, or is there another website to see them?

I'd love to see how it turned out.

Great pictures by the way. Looks like you guy had a very good race. I'll try to make one this year.

Blessings, Terry

Ollies spit was lost to radio malfunction.
I think he had a battery go south on him.

That would be great to have you up Terry. Tommy and I have "toyed" with the idea of heading south for one of your races down there last year. Him and I should reconsider that option. God knows I could go for a little road trip right now. I saw all three video segments and it seemed like you were holding a pylon race in the middle of a twister in the Texas panhandle, good Lordie it was windy!

Too bad about Ollies Spit, I hope he gets another one going.

Jake

I'm not sure which model that is.
I think Jake knows the owner and the lineage of that racer.
Looks like a bashed World Models racer to me.

Ya, that Strega is my racing buddy Steve Elmore's. I am pretty sure it is a World Models that was modded. He picked that one up at an RC swap meet over a year ago. It came with with a couple servos and a YS .91 for 200 bucks. He scored on that one.
