Truckracer -> Airtronics FHSS radio in Q500? (4/20/2009 6:43 AM)

Has anybody used the Airtronics FHSS radio in Q500 racing? I've been using one (it was cheap) in sport airplanes with good results but don't know if these have proven to work well for racing. Any comments would be appreciated.

Yes, and has worked very well. I have flown the Airtronics FHSS in wood/foam 424 planes, and also an all composite 428 Ninja with a Nelson LS and no problems. Here is a pic of my Viper 424 install:

There's a lot of people using them in 424, 428 and 422 and they work quite well.
