I was, of course, reasonably pleased with AFPD model of my HobbiStar60 that I created. But I am now astonished to find that there have been close to 3000 downloads of the model from the RC-Sim site.

The model did have some bad habits. The worst was a vicious swing on take-off. Pleased to say I have now cured this problem. My idea was to use the simulator model to learn as much as I could about the real HobbiStar60 which is still in its box under my desk. But I am getting close to flying the real beast and I'm now doing pretty extensive bench testing of motor/propeller combinations.

So, at least with my own simulator model, I am going to incorporate real world results into the model.
Would any user of this model like to have updates? If so, please contact me.

Please also I would welcome any comments on the model, either positive or negative, since I do plan to produce different models in the future.

One last thing: many, many thanks to Arthur Schoenknecht (user id:AS1947) for his great kindness and help.
