Why does it always happen to the good ones??
Well, one solution for those of you that didnt like my Hunter scheme was to repaint it. The other was as follows.... I wish I had gone with option 1 []
***** happens in this hobby, and I am always telling people that all of these planes will at some point crash. Wether its flight 1 or 1000. The only way round it is not to fly them, and for me thats more of a shame than to crash them. It happens to us all. Trust me, I am no way rejoicing in the fact, but I thought I would post the photos A) To show that it does happen to us all and B) To show what has to be some of the best photos of a crash sequence I have ever seen.
All Photos courtesy of Barry Watson. This crash was not at a display, just a normal club day testing.

Now for the really bad ones..... The most amazing thing about this was how quick the fire started and then went out. There is not a single sign of burning on any of the remains, and only a very small scorch on the grass. For as many of these smileys I want to post [:@] or [&o] or I guess the one I have to put is this one

Sorry about the loss Ali. I agree with you on the fact these things will happen. I'm sure you now have a good reason to pick another exciting model.

Hi Ali
Ouch, that is a bummer, sorry about the plane. I have had those days to...
Other than the crash I hope life is treating you well.
Awesome set of pictures, really great camera work!

Mate,
do you do anything with models that isn't impressive
On a serious note, gutted for you (and Ray). As you say, they're all gonna do it one day
Any idea what happened????
Cheers,
Mark

Ali,
Horrible Shame! My condolences!
But look at the bright side, at least it's done & finished! Your painter might have done unseemly things to you had you dropped it off for repaint after a crash.[X(]

Ali,
Sorry for your lost.
What are we to learn from this crash? Radio failure, structure failure, brain failure, bird strike?
William

Sorry to see this Ali, i am feeling your pain. I banged up my FB Mig-21 on Sunday hitting our club safety fence on my 89th flight. I have to get a new wing panel from Wagner and make some fuse repairs...nothing like what happened to you but some jets seem to live on forever and others are destined for the trash bin. [:@]

Man..Sorry to hear about the Hunter, a couple of were at work the other day looking at picks of it and admiring the paint job!!! This is the #1 reason I am terrified about getting into the tubine world, I'm in the USAF and the pay would hardly support the habit if I jump in head first..... Sorry again about the loss of your jet.
