Hey I hooked up with some of the guys that built this track.  We are going to be working on the rest of it next weekend 7/15/12 -7/16/12.  It needs some work but is in a lot better shap then it was at the beginning of the year.  Glad to hear your interested in it.  We usually go down on Sundays around 12.  There has been a lot of people there lately so I would say its back up and running again.

I will message you when we will be there.  Should be interesting with that motor.  One guy has a 10 with a Momba max it rips around the track.  I just bought a 8ight t and can't wait to try it out.

Yeah imcurious as well. All my stuff was so old i just bought a package of traxas rustler electronics just to get me started up again. I have the Traxas XL5 speed controller so i think im limited to 9.4 volts or a 2s lipo pack. The electonics have come so far since the last time i ran my truck i figured as long as i had room to upgrade to brushless and or Lipo batteries (if i dont burn the house down) to get more power.  Looking forward to meetin up with you guys.

Hey fellahs! I am so stoked to hear that Sears Lane is back up and running. I was there in June and it needed a lot of love. When that track is properly maintained I would put it up against any track in new England! I love that place. When I was there it was largely 1/8 truggy that we all raced there. Is that what you guys are running now? Would be awesome if you guys posted some new photos or updated a youtube video or 2. I am dying to see the track in its current state!
OH and Benji I totally remember you. Your dad was awesome and brought down the tractor to help us with the jumps on the backstretch. Great to hear from you!
Get me some updated photos guys! Rip Sears lane up!

Hey good hear you found it.  Most of the guys run truggy's at the track.  Couple short course slashes and a couple 5th scale trucks.  Good range of people.  Their are videos on youtube if you want to see it in action.  It is a fast track and all are welcome.hope to see ya in the fall.

Yes we plan on cleaning it up in the spring.  About six of of flattened it and rebuilt it last summer. Doubt you will see any of the usually there untill spring.  I know most of us have put the nitros away for the winter.

Run whatever you want there. You don't need a fast car to have fun.  My friends son comes down with his stampeed and try's racing the truggy's with it.  Lots of laughs.

Welcome to the rc world. Track is open to the public.  All that is asked is that you keep it clean and respect the land. Lot of us go down on Sundays. Hope to see ya sometime this summer. If you go nitro you might want to get into a bigger scale car. Traxxas is ok but hard to drive on this track. It is built for a bigger car like a 1/8th scale. Enjoy it, it is a fun hobby.
