Status: offline 		Flew the Munk this last weekend for the first time and was very impressed! I am using an OS61FX w/12x5 and a brisson pitts muffler. This plane is a very good quality arf that comes with installed flaps and retracts. Cost is about $220. I would be hard pressed to find a better deal and get the quality of this plane. It flies very steady and is very aerobatic. Landings are easy 3 pointers without using flaps. I can only imagine how much slower it will land once I get the mix setup for the flaps and elevator. This plane truly has no bad habits. Floats very well and is not snappy or unstable at very slow speeds. Anyone who has mastered any taildragger can fly this plane. Takeoffs are pretty straight with very little rudder correction. I balanced the plane so the tail dips slightly to keep from nosing over. I have not had any problems in that respect. Well built with the usual reinforcing necessary around the firewall and nothing else. I would recommend this plane to anyone who wants to step up from their first low wing trainer.
