Hey im new to airboating and was planning to make a 24"x13"x2.5"simple flat bottom i found in a magazine but it didnt say what the setup was.
Im going to use one of e-flites electric power series but am not sure which one would get me enough thrust for good performance(was thinking maybe the 25 one)
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Seems like that would be the minimum size to use. If you already own it, try it. If you have to buy it, I would go a little bigger(35 - 45 size).   Dennis

I have a e-flite 480 motor and with a 9X4.5  prop it puts out a little over 3lbs of thrust . The boat I have it on runs great on land but the design don't work on water .
