A few members of the RCAA will be getting together in Dunnellon, Florida for a Fun Run on Saturday, June 27, '09. Will be running on Big Lake Bonable. Here is MapQuest to the facility.

A big thanks to Gatorich for inviting us!

All are welcome to come and participate. If your interested in showing up to run, please let us know.
Looking forward to burning some fuel!

I am thinking we will all get out there around 10am and run until everyone has had enough. There is restrooms and a playground for the kiddies. Bring the whole family.

Ofcourse!  We're not opposed to air rudders at all. I have built many in my past, just been having a lot of fun with the hydros lately. The number one thing to remember is to have fun! If your having fun with what your doing, then I'm having fun with you. I hope you get to make it, I look forward to meeting you and any others that show up.

Anyone is welcome to come and run or just to hang out.

The lake we are running in has come up a bit from all the rains here lately and should be in great shape for some serious fun. It will even be able to contain that rocket ship you have Asmithnc.

Yes, we are still on! Would love to have you join us.

This started out with just a few of us getting together at Gatorich's pond to spend some time burning some fuel and hanging out with friends that we don't get to see too often. Knowing that there are other boaters in the area we thought we would invite them to join us.  There are about 8 boats already coming plus who ever shows up.

Anyone who is planning on showing up, let us know, so we can get an idea of how many extra boats will be there.

Sounds good. I think I will try to make it up there. Google says it is about a two hour 100 mile drive for me. We have three boat types at our flying field that I go and watch run their boats on occasion. I have told them of the meet.

I currently do not own a boat though. I am a heli and plank flyer. I am building a BSB. It is almost done but I do not think I will make it for your get together.

There has been a few unexpected issues that have arose and I will not be able to make it to this meet. I was looking forward to meeting some new friends as well as seeing a few familiar ones.

It sounds like you are not going to be there either asmithnc. Could you please clear that up. I wish you could have made it Selph Inflicted, I was looking forward to meeting you. I plan on being there, but not with an airboat. Mine is down for reconstruction.   Dennis

I wish I could make it, but have to think about the family first. I was looking forward to meeting you and the others also. There will be time for another on. We will definitely try it again in the near future.

To be clear.... I will not be there.  The BAD LUCK thing hit me and I need to focus and look forward.  But, honestly I wish I could go.  Tillllll next time....... speaking of next time when will it be.
