Has anyone here tried this model? I used to own the smaller Velox from TWM and it was a great flyer, but now I'mitching for a larger one.

Status: offline 		I just bought the 29% Katana from TWM. Im confused on the radio compartment configuration. This is the first ARF I have bought and the TWM manual is horrible. This is also my first gas plane and im not exactly sure how to set it all up. Would you mind showing me (picture) how you setup your system inside? Im putting a DA 50cc in her. Also im living in Egypt now so you can imagine how hard it is to get any advise on this kind of stuff. Its been 2 years since I messed with any planes so im rusty. Thanks a ton!

This is a good manual that might give you some information in a general way. I studied their manuals before building my first 50cc gasser and even though the planes weren't exactly like the one I was putting together, it explains a lot of good techniques for an ARF aerobatic plane.

Status: offline 		Do you think (1) 20.0 kg or 277.7 oz servo is strong enough for the rudder on this bird? I was thinking two but not sure.

Status: offline 		That plenty enough for my kind of flying. I'd say try it and see how it does, you can always get a more powerful servo later, if necessary for your style of flying. With the wide range of servos available now days, you shouldn't have to double them up on a 29%er.

Status: online 		A single Rudder servo is plenty these days, under the conditions that you are using a new, quality grade, brand servo, with the torque required.
Your battery and wiring and switches will also need to be able to support the servo's draw,
A single servo demanding most or all of your available current will turn your 34% into 0%
