Ok its been a couple years since i have flown Heli's but I found one for sale that I think may be a good deal. If you can give an estimate of its worth I would appreciate it. Also any comments on the heli itself would be nice. I dealt with Align and Thunder tiger helis most but never the Mikado line.  Thanks in advance for any info - Chris

mikado logo 10 witch is completely ready to go except for transmitter.
It has a  Hacker C50 14L and a jeti 50a ESC w/ cooling fan.
GY401 gyro and futaba digital tail servo.
fullymax 6S1P 4500 mah pack also have a 12 cell nickel cadmium pack.
It has an upgraded logo 20 head for mass with Mah 9/46,5/500 carbon fiber blades. and logo 20 vertical and horizontal fins. The body is custom fit logo 24 bionic.
one thing is it is missing the battery plate
It also comes with a logo 20 frame with an aveox motor and extra blades

He says its ready to go minus TX. Hitec RX is installed and has an unknown size RX batt. All Futaba servos

fire_boy, I don't know anything about the Logo 10 however I've had my Logo 500 3D for a month now and it's AWESOME! I would suggest using only LiPo packs to power it. Do make sure you go through everything though. There's some good Logo specific info. on Helifreak and RunRyder too. Dave

Thanks David... How will this heli perform on the Nicad I got with it? For a while I just want a tame heli so i can get back with it. And What about this 6S lipo? The guy I bought it from said the headspeed was insane and he only flew a couple times with it. What would be the best lipo for the heli, no 3d or anything.... I was thinking of selling the 6s or trading it and getting a 4s for it.

A 12 cell Nicad is only 14.4 volts. Your 6s 4500mAh lipo is 24 volts. I have no idea how it will perform on a Nicad but if it was me I'd convert it to Lipo.I'm not sure what guys are currently using in Logo 10's.I'd ask in the groups I mentioned. Sorry I'm not much help but I'm still relatively new at RC helis (but raced cars, trucks and had a boat 15+ years ago). I will tell you that the current "good" Lipos are though... Outrage or CellPro (expensive) or Zippy (cheap)Dave

well the first flight was a little hairy! I had my pitch curve set ... well ... just a little bit wrong. It spooled up and all of a sudden leaped to about 20' up! I was trying for about a 2 or 3' hover but now im 20' up in a heli thats not trimmed and still hasnt been programmed perfectly. LUCKILY i was able to keep my cool and set her down without any problems. After a little adjustments I have her flying pretty nice, did some hovering, some piros, and a couple circles. I had noticed before I started there was 1 tooth missing on the main gear. I could hear it chattering and knew it was only a matter of time. I was about 5' up when i heard a "sound" I knew what was happening. The gear started to strip and I was able to set it down right as it started to piro out of control. Soooo Overall it was good, I knew the MG was gonna go so I already have a couple on the way.

On another note, Anyone have a good source for Logo parts? I found a few websites but wanted to know if anyone has a site the personally like ... good service... good products... has things in stock! you know, things like that. Thought i would just get some opinions.

Battery help! I have a 6s1p battery with this heli and its a little too fast for me. Then I have a 12 cell nicd that seems a little slow. So my question is what battery do yall suggest? Im thinking of a 4s or 5s .... I dont fly 3d, just some lazy flying around. Looking for a good battery to have decent flight time, but also have some power in case i should need it. Thanks for any suggestions.

How about these Lightmax Zippy Li-pos??? 4S1P 5000mah 25C battery for only around $70. Add the $15 dollars in shipping and your up to $85....... not to mention the 10-30 day shipping time!!! Are these batteries worth it?? Some of these 4S batteries I'm finding are a couple hundred bucks! Anyone out there got any comments on these???

I got a 4s from my LHS instead of gambling with the zippys. Now my problem is tail wag. I have the Gy401 gyro with a digital S9650 tail servo. I read the 401 manual and it says for digital servo set the delay at 0. I did that and it didnt help. So i turned it up little by little and it goes through worse spots but doesnt seem to get any better. I unhook the servo horn and the linkage feels smooth. Im not sure where to go from here, the servo is mounted in the frame but I have the boom mount. Anyone have and opinions on this?

Tail wag is usually caused by gyro gain set to high. lower th gain and should get better.

I did my first paint job, check it out. I used 400 grit sand paper and wet sanded the entire fuse. Sprayed it with a white base coat and went from there, took lots of tape but i got it done. Used the krylon fusion plastic paint and it seemed to work great. What do you think?
