Specs and more info please! I understand that it has "limited" switch re-assignability, etc.

Is the timer/SW similar to the 8103 ones, or can you setup multiple timer/SW. Also, a feature I'm hoping they'd have is that the side levers can be used as mixer inputs or as a mixer parameter - eg, you can dial in Aileron diff (okay, that's a preset mix) on the fly with the side levers ...

you can do what ever you want with the side levers: flap throttle cut and also activate any of the mixes youv'e programed.
I'm not sure about the timer switch because i've never seen a 8103 timer switch.I'm pretty sure ther will be a way to set up multiple timer swithches.

I thought the throttle trim was digital also.

So does it mean the switches are assignable??

Guideline for expected pricing here:

http://www.cyberheli.com/PCM9X.asp

remember this is PCM set with all Digital Servos; about the same price as 9C with PCM rx and 4x Digital Servos.

If you power the radio on in a flight mode other then normal, does it turn on normally or beep and not allow the radio to transmit until you fix the problem?

I like the look of 9x but in terms of using and programming, is it a good choice to upgrade from 3810 to 9X ?

thanks

katechai, it depends on what type of flying you want to do if your just doing sport flying then the 8103 will be more than enough but if your looking to get into compitions of anysorts or have some scale model that needs some complex mixing then th PCM9 will be a good choice. the only reason I decided to get a PCM9 was because i was realy into pattern and sort of 3D flying.
