The 2009 IMAA Rally of Giants will be held in beautiful Hamburg, Pennsylvania on June 18th through June 21st . The Farview RC Flyers and our IMAA Hamburg Squadron Chapter 783 would like to extend a fantastic opportunity for you to join with us in flying giant scale radio controlled model aircraft at the Grim Airpark in Hamburg Pennsylvania, (Perry Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania).

Just minutes off of Route 78 and 61, our airfield is located at 375 Farview Road, Hamburg Pa 19526 and has the following amenities such as, a 300' by 1800' impact rolled grass runway, covered pavilion, kitchen facility, long secluded private drive and an abundance of parking as well as several thousand feet of flyover zones. This privately owned property is a state registered airfield and is one of the nicest flying sites in the Northeast!

All giant scale RC aircraft as defined by the IMAA, as well as giant scale turbine powered jets, IMAC 3-D aircraft, AMA experimental (over 55 lb) aircraft and giant scale helicopters are all welcome to fly at this event. Proper AMA waivers and permits to fly apply. All frequencies are welcome. Mark your calendar for Father's Day weekend and get your favorite giant scale ready to fly with us!!

Hey Rick,
I went Friday to spectate for a few hours and had a great time - your club put on a great Event !! IF I live closer I'd join your club but as awesome as that flying area is driving almost 2 hours is a little far for me !!

I almost went to this but was'nt sure about the weather! Today finally turned out great but the wind picked up and changed my mind.
I used to go every year back in the early 90's but never flew there. Glad to see the site is being used again!
