I installed a choke from a chainsaw on my G-23. I made a narrow slit in the cowling and it works great. Even the holes matched up with the carb on the motor. No more wondering how to choke it with the cowling on. You could probably find something to work for your ZDZ

Actually I gave the airplane to my pop and I took the zdz off and mounted a Saito 1.80 which now flys real nice. Thanks for the info, that is a great idea for the choke.
