Many members are around your area.  I would recommend checking around the local county offices or just visit the local fishing holes as you pass by them.  Just remember to tell the county guys..."just want to play with my TOY model boat".

Status: offline 		You could go up to Columbia MD.  There is a lake off of 175 behind the Ford dealership that a boat club frequents every Saturday and Sunday.  The club has been there for years, it is freshwater and a solid place to run.  Worth the trip....Take you about an hour.
