I just bought a P80. Read the manual cover to cover. Love the thoroughness of manual. Few questions:

My glow plug is OS A3. Why? Does it already has the coil pull out as per manual? Can I pull out the plug to change it?

More important...manual stated that there is WARNING signal when fuel or battery run low. Does it show during flight or only by GCU?

Hope you guys can help. Thanks.

The glowplug that came with the motor already has the element pulled out. It should last for quite awhile.

When you need to change it, you just need to modify a stock plug like the little picture shows.

As for the warning, these are low battery and low fuel warnings.

After you enable them (and calibrate the fuel measuring system) then in flight, if either condition occurs (either a low battery of low fuel) one of 2 things can be programmed to occur:

1.) The default is for the turbine to pull the throttle back to a preset point. You can only regain control of the throttle by pulling the throttle stick back to idle and then advancing it again. This resets the "alarm" and then you can land. Use this feature with caution! Make sure you remember if you have it engaged, so if you feel the power come back in flight you will know what to do!!

2.) The system can be set to pulse the smoker system as an alarm as well. THis is a better option IMHO

Good luck,

If you are in California and need help we fly in Van Nuys a lot, you can bring your plane over and we can check it out.
