lol do you wanna start an all out war here?? you can argue both ways. i honnestly prefer associated i have been using there products since i was 5. Just seems to me associated is more available to the general public than losi and that associated is constantly upgrading their line of vehicles to bigger and better things

You can go either way. Associated parts are easier to find, both companies make durable cars, buggies, and trucks, both the electric and gas versions look cool and are pretty fast. Losi is usually heavier and has high prices while associated has moderate prices. If you want to go full scale go losi but for full scale and bashing go with associated. Losi parts seem to be able to scratch easier.

Yah as everyone says its based on opinion, and what your LHS carries in stock. For you matt you can go either way b/c our LHS carries an equal amount of both. I prefer Losi b/c thats what alot of friends drive but its a close competition! ALTHOUGH THAT T4 LOOKS SWEET!!!

I think is all about the location you at.
Me, I would love to own a Alex Baracuda!

I really don`t Losi because we pay alot here. Associated we can get at fair prices and plenty of parts! Xray well they are out here but prices are stupid.

It all depends on where you live and prices.I don`t care how popular a car is. I will not spend a alot on a car just to say I own it!

Been I have been in his hobby for too many years to start being backwards now.

It's like everyone else said, it's based on opinion, they all have there ups and downs. I prefer Associated because they are one of the few with a shaft driven elcectric and the parts are readily available at almost any hobby shop. Down here where I live the shops seem to like there cars a lot and don't really carry anything besides HPI, AE, Losi, Kyosho or obviously Tamiya, so I have to order my stuff, but if they carried any of the 'exotic' cars, they would probably reign king.

yeah that's true. It is based a lot on location. The only way I can get parts for my losi is if I order online. All the LHS around here sell only Associtated, HPI, and XTM. There are no places here that sell Tamyia, losi, DuraTrax, etc. So look to see what is around you and what you can get easier, associated, losi, whatever. Whatever you can get your hands on easier, is what you should get.

Its alot less hassle if you have a place to get parts. If you don`t then you have one hack of a door stop

Example. Team Xray. Their parts are soooooooooooo over priced 2 times more! If given a choice between Losi and Team Xray I would go with Losi. Why? because more of their cars are run here and prices arn`t as stupidly priced Team Xray parts are.

Team Kyosho!!

heh I'm a little brand bias, but I like the price of Kyosho kits/parts, and their parts/products seem more "fine", like a good european sports car. Parts may be difficuilt for some people to find, but the overall "feel" of running and working on the car is what gets me. Plus, the name Kyosho has the racing heritage of the unbeatable Inferno buggy. I can't afford one, but ever since I got into this hobby I have been dreaming about it! The Inferno has got to be the Lamborghini of r/c's lol..

Just trying to make it more intresting. Posts like this show up atleast a million times a day and nothing comes out of them. They are pointless.
