Well, I am converting to electric. After the pain and agony of nitro I decided to make the switch. I have both nitro versions of the trucks and between them I can't decide. The revo is much more responsive, excellent handling etc and then the savage has excellent jumping capabilities, strong as hell! So which is the better out of the Savage flux and E-revo BL? Will be just bashing/jumping and running 6S lipos.

Which ever truck you really like more now , since you have both . Their brushless counterparts are the same , just triple the power .

whats so bad about nitro. a little tuning here and there.?? why wait an hour to charge a battery , you could surely fix your engine by then .??
just wondering since im new into nitro and came from electric. prefer nitro anyday to electric.. although electric wil let me get away with bashing after 7 pm...

I would skip both, out of drivetrain durability fears, and get the Associated RC8TE truggy... Set it up right and it'll bash with the best of them.

With the Savage I imagine you'll be blowing trannies and diffs far more often than you would with a truggy. About the Revo I don't know anything. Looks awfully cool though...

Still, truggy is where it's at for putting down big power IMO.

Not to get into this MT vs. truggy thing again - I still think a properly set-up, NOT over-powered MT can jump as well as anything(cough, cough...., LST2....) But Savages anyway are not good platforms for big power.

Ive got a flux running 12,000 mAh and 25.2 volts. It barly gets warm and the power is insane, first flux Ive seen do dbl. standing back flips. Anything over 1/2 throttle is crazy, and even working to get it to 1/2-3/4 throttle is tough. I have a stage 1 ported revo thats under 9lbs and it's much smoother feeling. I have 2 nitro savages and they are the same way. I have the castle link and have spent some time tuning my flux but the power on 6S is just a bit much. I think with 4S and some good tires it would be better.

I like my revo so much because of how light it is and it feels more like a truggy compared to my flux. With lipos my flux is about 12.5lbs and thats tough on parts, compared to my revo's 8.8lbs. Both are fun trucks. My revo is set up more for a track, but I think it's better suited for racing. My savage is for all out bashing and I think it's better suited for that.
