Hi,
Does anyone know where to get the UCON LB625 oil? I live in Sweden, so preferably a reseller in europe, but anyone that ships internationally will be fine. :-)

25 years ago I mixed fuel for the large R/C club of which I was a member. I used Ucon oil which I bought from the Dow Chemical outlet in the nearest major city, which was Toronto Ont. Canada. I found their address in the yellow pages of the phone book. The only problem was the smallest quantity they would sell me was by a 45 Imperial gallon drum.

Looking at their website, http://www.dow.com/polyglycols/ucon/products/2cycle.htm they no longer specifically list LB 625 oil, but rather "Synalox" as being available in Europe. Perhaps this will give you a lead.

LB 625 was in those days looked upon as having the lowest viscosity usable for model fuels. I used the higher viscosity MA 731 and YT 773 oils with excellent results.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

you can't buy it, Union carbide went out of business 12 years ago.

MA 731 has not been made in years. That was the special fluid made for George Aldrich when he had the glow fuel company a long time ago. Dow will only make it if swomebody wants a train tanker car load of it. LB 625 is an antiquated fluid technology, but it works OK, hard to get your fingers on because its not a very popular fluid anymore. If you're in europe, stick with the Aerosynth/ Aerosave products.
