Since yesterday I have done a little browsing on this Proboat Miss Bud 1:12 RTR. I have been in RC'ing long enough to know hardly anything is a true RTR but it appears it is a lot of bang for buck.

A couple questions for those who have seen one or own one:

1) Can the plastic prop be changed out for a brass/metal one?
2) I kept reading about someone offering hop ups for 100 or less that will give 10mph more but never could locate where this was. Anyone know?

Status: offline 		Yes, the prop can be swapped out for a Beryllium Copper one, Octura has them.
i've seen the outfit that you are talking about, it was on eBay several times. Is it any good, I don't know.
Before you buy one, go to [url]www.radiocontrolzone.com,[/url] go into the Boat section, then into the Beginners area. There is a lot of info from Miss Bud owners, mostly not too good.
Most of the things offered by this person can be bought a lot cheaper than what he wants for them.
