My transmitter cable has died again.  I purchased my sim from Ikarus USA.  When it first failed, they replaced it approx 2 yrs. ago.  I had an old email address for someone at Ikarus USA, so I sent an email.  Someone from Ikarus (in Germany?) wrote back and told me to contact Hobby Lobby.  Hobby Lobby said, you didn't buy it from us, so we can't help you.  I am told Ikarus USA is no more, so now what do I do?

Hi jpflyer, could you post a photo of the usb cable that you have? Could you describe what error message you get in AFPD? Thanks

Hello,
I get a message that says Afpd cannot find a usb transmitter cable or game commander device.  I attached pics of the cable.

More info, I am using a JR 8103 and a 6102 transmitters.  I checked for broken wires at the connecters, but all appear well soldered and not broken.  The number on the first screen is 1.11.07.19.

Hi Jpflyer, please ship your faulty usb interface cable to the service department below with a brief description of your problem, daytime phone number, and email address. You may attach this thread for reference. Pls keep the JR/Spektrum adapter cable with you (white cable with blue stripe). Ikarus Germany will send you a new style usb interface cable and a usb adapter for JR/Spektrum radios

Mike,
I shipped my cable back on the 11th of June, but I have not heard back. How long does it take or is it possible to find out any information.
Thanks,
Larry Cox

Hi Larry, Ikarus Germany confirmed that they received your cable and have sent out the replacement July 3rd. Probably will take another week or so to reach you.

Hi Larry, you're most welcomed. I know I can't live a day without AFPD

Ikarus sent you the new type of usb interface as in the attached diagram. Pls note that for JR and Spektrum radios only, you will need to use the stick adapter. Other radios like Futaba does not need it. Cheers!
