Hey there,
I'm looking for something simple, and cheap, I'm planing on getting a new plane sometime soon, but still wants to be able to fly the Typhoon.
What do you say?

Try an Emax esc. Toysonics sells 25 amp size for about 18$, 30amp for 20$

I have a 18amp and a 60amp. I haven' t used them a lot yet (18amp about a half dozen flights, 60 amp -2 flights) but so far no problems. If you buy one of these get the programing card (about 7$). It makes programing them a lot easier.

If you can not or don’t want to afford a Jeti, try with Turnigy or Himodel ESC, they are very well made ESC and very affordable.

After having three Typhoon motors fail on me, I switched over to a cheap Walkera inrunner I had laying around, and put in an inexpensive 40A ESC with BEC.

The motor fit perfectly, I used the same provided pinion gear, and I've had no more problems....

The Typhoon motors are POS!
