i got a question for those who have had these mini slashes for awhile, what kind of off road tires can you use on these slashes with out having to trim the body, besides the stock tires that traxxxas makes. i am looking for someing with a more aggressive tread, but i want to keep them narrow an the same size as the stock ones so they dont look goofy.

would 1/10 buggy front 4wd tires work i have never seen any up close. i tried to match measurements but nothing seems to match with the given info on manufactor websites

If you can find some aggressive sedan 10th scale tires, they don't need you to trim the body and they are very very close to the stock tires

Well Im looking at both of my cars right now (Tamiya DB-01 and 1/16 slash) The tires on my durga dwarf the stock slash tires.

I recently bought a revo and I noticed when I make a hard left turn the wheels lock up and makes a nasty grinding noise. Thoughts?

1/10 buggy tires are out of the question then, well the only thing i have been able to find are some rally tires as stated before that would be the close in size but there not aggressive enough i want tires to play in the snow with, but still keep the slash look.

what about some 1/18 size tires? there still 12mm hexs right? they might be a little bit smaller but i would have to trim the body or switch my slash to a revo.

The RPM parts for the Mini Revo won't work on the Mini Slash unless you want to run longer arms.

crap i broke my front body mount again in the same place again. i dont want to spend $5 more dollars on a whole other set of body mounts. besides the bumper still functoins it just wiggles a lot so i think i got one more major crash an i going to have to replace it.

thats what rpm should upgrade is that front body mount on the mini slash and make it were there are two points of attachment an not one were it allows the bumper to wiggle in place no matter what.

No I just like upgrading my cars. The only thing I have broken is the brushed motor... Cant afford brushless and I'm afraid I will start breaking it if I do go to brushless.

You can run the Mini Slash just fine on NIMH and brushless.
