I seen a thread for the 1/16 e-revo but not the slash unless you guys want to just have a thread for both rc's.....
 Anywho i just orderd my vxl slash (amsoil) with extra battery and series adapter for $264 shipped to canada.Anybody else getting the slash?

I am tossed up between the vendetta rally and the slash...  I don't have a lot of offroad driving spots near my house, but I like the looks of the slash a lot..  seems like a nice car for on or off road.. but probably more fun off road..

I like this slamed mini slash...I have the same Amsoil one on order...might have to get a set of road tires for it too.

 The UPS guy came way late last night, so we didn't get a chance to try out our new mini Slash's until today. I really wasn't into cars because of all the Heli related things I do, but now I'm stoked about cars too. The stock battery seemed to last about 20 minutes with great power. I'm still going to have to make some Lipo saddlepacks though. I also noticed that the stock bumper is alot stronger than it looks :]

Yeah alot of people are saying they are pretty fast on one battery...going to be a blast running two 6 cell nimh's....[:)]

the battery area on these cars is way to small, very limited on what size batteries you can use

I can get you a list of the batteries that will fit if you so need.check out the traxxas community forum..lots of people have them and the reveiws are coming..mostly good..one broken a-arm and one esc gone up in smoke...but thats going to happen with a new release and having a 50mph mini...

That thing looks nice. Road wheels/tires will be a must for sure.

I bet it would be crazy with some drift tires.

Personally, I'd love to see someone put the proline helios body on one (the warthog buggy from Halo).  I think it would fit great.

Those JACO foams look sick.  Word is they handle amazing with these tires on the truck, onroad of course.  Please give some feedback with your experience.

Well, I got my Mini Slash today and it comes with a completely different body then the ones in an above post.

It is the John Whelchel Edition. Now I just need to find the same body for my 1/10 Slash.
