Radios are a matter of opinion.  Some like Futaba, JR, Spektrum, Airtronics... etc.  What's your budget, what are you using it for?

There's no "best" radio just like there's no "best" tires for your car.

Futaba, Spektrum, JR, Airtronics, they will all get the job done.

How many channels, what features, whats your price range....all go into a recomendation  but any of the major radio brands will fly your model as well as you're capable of flying it.

Thanks for the info I like JR that was my fist like the quality but its 6 years old 5 channel xf421 allot has changed I need the best 500 or 600 trex if thats what the other guys tell me is the best . My piloting and building skills  are good I only crash when I do stupid stuff that I know I should not be doing like flying in 35+ wind too close to ground but what the hell thats what its all about for me flying on the edge of my capabilities and for the most part I come out without a crash . I built my zaggi xt from foam and tape that thing is a beast best plane Ive ever flown 90+ straight line then cut all power glides like a dream so Im not without skills. Thanks for all your help I will let you guys know what I end up with.

What is the best???? Boy, will that start an argument.  Go out to your local flying field and see what the others in your area are flying.  Then go with that brand.
I've been in several clubs thoughout the US and it seems thaere are pockets of interest depending the the locale.

Around hmy area JR is the most used, with Futaba second.  That's mostly because the local hobby shop keeps JR equipmnet in stock.  The Futaba fliers are mostly the more seasoned guys and they bought at Tower Hobbies.  Only a couple of guys flew Airtrnics, but that doesn't mean they aren't good.... Just not real popular in our neighborhood.

So ldon't get too hungup on "the best".  Look at the features you'll use and what's popular and go with that.

Thanks I have never even been to a flying field and I think the closest one from me is in Austin. Its  about 40 miles each way so I just fly by myself and for my friends . Thanks for the info the more I look the more my head hurts I think I"ll probably just get the TREX 600 RTF combo I found online .  I fond one on RC EXPERT for $1,699 every thing there but is it good stuff I dont know. Anyone out there looking for one check that site and if you think its a good deal please let me know.

Well in "MY" opinion, the best radio is on sale at Hobby People for $199.99 with (2) Rx's.  My opinion is worth 1/2 of what you paid for it.

I fly Airtroncs and the RDS8000 is on sale right now.  It is a GREAT radio.  Has tons of features and is about bullet proof.

the futaba 10C is a very good radio for heli's with all the bit's you need and is one of the fast's there is but it's not cheap but the best stuff never is, so yes in the 10Cs case futaba is best,
And is all your ever need in a radio, loads of growth with more channels for the next thing when it comes out,
The 10C really is the radio for today and tomo, from a little 400 ccp heli or a big 700 glow plug with lift up landing gear and guns that pop out the sides or a V tail glider or a 4 engine flying fortress this radio will do the lot, with all the special programs they all need to make the most of them,
And no glitches,

That's quite the statement on what's really an entry/mid level radio. The DX7 is a good radio but nowhere near "the best". Again, "the best" is too arbitrary and will depend on the needs of the pilot.

In my mind, "best" brings up images of either the JR 12X or Futaba 14MZ.
