Mike,

I have had an Aurora 9 on order since the first part of March and I am now trying to get everything in order for the arrival. One of the issues I am trying to resolve is the rapid internal discharge of standard Nimh battery so I am moving to the new Sanyo eneloop and would like to order it and have it charged up when the A9 arrives. Can you tell me what connector Hitec uses for the Aurora 9 TX battery so that I can specify it when I order the battery? Also, I know the A9 will accomodate both Nimh and Lipos but, I am not sure about A123. The A123, lithium nanophosphate, has a slightly lower voltage than the Lipos but, it is less risky. Thanks.

Howard

It uses the same ELCO connector that all our other radio use.

There should be no reason the A123's would not operate the radio. The problems would be fit, and the minimum cut off voltage of 6v in the transmitter in Lipo mode.

You'll have to figure this one out on your own. For now the Aurora does not officially support A123's in the TX. Let me know what you find and we may change this.

Mike.
