Status: offline 		ive narrowed it down to three,trex 600,trex 500, or thunder tiger mini tiitan,i really want to learn how to fly good, im going to get seriuos about this,also going to get a SIMULATOR,IVE FLOWN CO AXIALS,I FLY THE QUARK VERY GOOD,but i really want something stable and can handle the wind pretty good,i am going to put alot of time and money into this,any suggestions please help,i really want to stay with electric,thanks

Status: offline 		the align trex500, and 600 will be the most supported heli's you can buy.   most LHS carries their parts. and they fly great.    plus there is a great wealth of knowledge about these birds.

True, but that does not necessarily make them the best or even the best buy for what any particular individual needs.

For example, I found my larger Swift 550SE Carbon (520mm to 550mm blades) from Century to be easier to fly then my TREX 450SE (325mm blades) and cost about the same to get into the air. That is because it is sized between the T500 (425mm blades) and the T600 (600mm blades). So you can see, it is closer in size to the T600 but costs far less to get and keep in the air. I have never had any problems getting crash parts for it, from a number of on-line sources, the three times I have dumb thumbed it into the ground.

I have also never had any "issues" with it after over 150 fights - not so with my T-Rexes.

I also found it to be very versatile - easy to set up for any type of flying, from lower rotor speed scale type of flying, to higher rotor speed sport aerobatic flying, to all out high rotor speed extreme 3D flying. I found it to be much more nimble on a 6S pack then the T600. To get similar performance from the T600E, one had to upgrade a number of items, and to run rather expensive 8S battery packs. (Now, if I was to go to that size of an electric heli (8S ot 10S packs and 600+mm blades),  would go to the Swift 620SE.) 

The Swift 550SE is also very  versatile relative to gear ratio selection for different motors and various battery packs from 4S/3300 right on up to 6S/5000's.

You will find a lot of us Swifty's in the "Large Electric Heli" forum on the R C Groups website, if you want to ask any questions about it..

Status: offline 		I want the best for the most insane 3D possible and if it can do that wouldn't  it fly well with out it in 3D under anyones standards . Thanks for the good info Im going to look at century again.

Hi, I'm a Quark-trained heli flyer like you. I can imagine how excited you are (because we don't want the cheap but very slow route to learning rc helicopters).
I got me a Mini Titan SE recently because my Quark and my GAUI 200 struggles in the wind. The MT is fun to build, because the manual is so easy to follow. This is my very first heli I built myself from kit (I bought my GAUI 200 RTF). I'm still trying to perfect my Mini Titan setup before its maiden flight (hopefully this coming weekend).
I believe you can't go wrong should you decide to get the Trex 600. The bigger, the more stable it flies, and the better it handles the wind.
