DO YOU HAVE TO REPROGRAM YOUR FAILSAFE EACH TIME YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FEED TO THEM OR DO THEY REMEMBER YOUR SETTINGS ?

You shouldn't have to.

You shouldn't want too. Make sure you have good batteries, good receiver and good sealing to keep out water. And a failsafe should not be needed.

The "failsafe" setting are stored in your TX and it has a internal back-up battery. If your loosing setting and your radio is a few years old you may need to send it in for a service.

umm no. I believe he is talking about a stand alone failsafe.   No you do not have to reprogram it enery time you cycle the power on/off.  It dosen't have anything to do with your transmitter unless you have a higher end radio with a failsafe system built in.
