So I have only owned a four wheel drive truck and I was curious if there were any advantages of owning a 2wd? I'm assuming you can climb better with the four wheel drive and do wheelies with the 2wd anything else better about having a two wheel drive truck?

There is no advantage to a 2 wheel dirve..........its just for the ST people who are crazy enough to like the skill level it takes to drive them

Yeah, in an MT, I really don't see what advantages 2WD could give you.  I have both 4WD and 2WD MT's and the 4WD's do everything just as well as the 2WD or better.  2WD can be a little crazier to drive, so that can sometimes be a bonus if you like  a challenge, but their is no real advantage I can think of to 2WD.  Oh, 2WD's are usually cheaper, their is your advantage!

2 wd will also give you less weight, and more top speed because of less rotational mass.... but not much.

4wd is the only way to go.

Give it a try. Pull the front center drive shaft out and see what it feels like. I used to have a savage when they first came out and it kept breaking dogbones. While I was waiting for replacement bones, I used it 2 wheel drive. It was quite different but pretty fun.
