Status: offline 		The only thing keeping my trex 450 out of the air right now is a loose tail boom. It's loose because I stripped some of the tail boom stiffener screws. It's $50 for a metal tail boom stiffener (the block that surrounds your boom and holds it tight) and I'm not going to fork out that much money just to fix this small problem. I was told that the tail boom stiffener has sleeves running through it where the screws are, which can be replaced if screws become stripped, so I took it apart and sure enough there are. I can't find any replacements online though. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Status: offline 		try this http://www.xheli.com/exi-31217.html it will work because i have used it before. the hexgonal inserts on these are metal so no more stripping too.

Status: offline 		Thanks. I believe there is also a copter x metal tail boom stiffener for $20 not including shipping, but I want to use the original stiffener which has the brand name on it. For some odd reason that's important to me. And I don't believe any of the metal stiffeners have selves like the plastic ones do. If the metal inserts won't fit the Align stiffener though I don't mind using the stiffener that comes with it. Saving as much $$$ as possible that way anyways. Thanks again.

Status: offline 		When mine stripped, I replaced them with long 4 40 bolts with lock nuts on the ends. No more problems.
