Hi,

I have just loaded the RealFlight 4.5, updated the software and got the free Add-Ons - all work OK.

I would now like to get the F-27C Stryker by Parkzone, but the ones on the RealFlight download pages do not seem to work.

Can anyone tell me the proper procedure to download individual planes? I was able to download the Add-On packages and they work OK, I just can't get the F-27C Stryker to load into 4.5.

I suspect there is a different procedure for the individual planes, or that there is no F-27C Stryker download for RealFlight 4.5 yet.

Can anyone help? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Fly4Fun,

Wayne

None of the ones I found on the KnifeEdge website were for 4.5

There were a lot of them found by their search function, but all looked to me to be for 3.5 and earlier. When I looked in the 4.5 models by name, there were no Parkzone Strykers.

Hi da Rock,

I found the same thing.

What surprised me was when I went to the 4.5 downloads and did a search, the 3.5's popped up. I wasn't quite sure if they would run with 4.5 or not.

Thanks for the confirmation that they would not.

Wayne

Yes, I was surprised by that too. It's not a really intelligent search. But heck, at least they offer one.

Hi,

I still haven't found one and so I'm going to try and find the directions to create one - hopefully it won't be too hard.

Can anyone give me any tips.

Wayne

Wayne,

I just went and did a search in KnifeEdge's website and downloaded the Stryker for 3.5. It is a zip file and you will ahve to extract them. Then you can go back into the game and load it up. I got it to work in mine and I use RF 4.5 as well. Alot of the 3.5 planes work just fine in the newer versions.

Hi TruBlu02,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I was able to download the zip file and by using the "import" function for 3X I was able to import the plane.

I can not seem to get enough "up trim" to make it fly level - I think I need to edit the pitch, but darn if I can get it to change, I must be doing something wrong. I'll keep trying.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

Wayne Miller

Hi,

Thanks to Luke Planemaker I was able to get more "up", for anyone else looking for the information after downloading the Stryker and importing it into 4.5, edit the following for:

Aiframe CG adj.(in) y=.95
HZ Wings incident at root -10
Main Wing Incidence at root +10

Thanks for everyone's help.

Wayne
