Status: offline 		Hi all, just bought a Hitec Micro 05S RX for a foamie, and the guy at the hobby shop told me I could use a futaba crystal. well, i found out today that is not the case...had terrible twitching and interference.

My question is, if I buy a Hitec crystal for the receiver, can I still use a Futaba transmitter and be OK?

Provided your Futaba Transmitter, set to PPM (PCM will not work), has a Futaba transmitter crystal and a single conversion Hitec FM/AM crystal (green tipped) on the same frequency is used in the 05MS , then you should be very happy with the combination.
