ok im new to the fms sim. but i started downloading some more planes for it but i noticed some of the planes dont work they just sit there and when i throttle up nothing happens they seem like there at full thottle already when i load them for some reason. but they dont move so they cant be at full throttle. how do i fly these planes? the gliders do the same thing they dont move. also how do i add landscapes? when i try copy and paste the stuff in like i do for the models it gives me an error when i go to the landscape i added and then i cant play. everytime i open the game after that it gives me the same error and closes untill i reinstall whats the proper way to add landscapes?

Click on a model to download and choose to "open" the file instead of saving.

Then the file to the C:\ Program Files\ FMS\ Model\ directory.

Same thing with landscapes but use the: C:\ Program Files\ FMS\ Landscape\ directory.

If your model just sits there, you are probably trying to fly an FMS 2 alpha 8.5 airplane
using FMS 2 beta 7. Uninstall beta 7 and then install FMS 2 alpha 8.5.

You should have a drop down menu to be able to "launch" the gliders.

If you are just using gliders, hit the "W" key and that will Winch them up for you. Or hit "I" to initialize the program and then "W" to launch.
