Hello everyone. Even though I've started out again with VS Tanks, I couldn't resist the urge for another big tank, and since I've never had a Panzer IV before, I ordered a HL in the F2 version. I'm trying to get suggestions for a paint scheme. I want the tank to look pretty convincing, but I'm not hung up on every thing being perfectly accurate. I'm considering paint schemes from North Africa all the way to the Battle of the Buldge. I would really like to do the "ambush pattern", but I'm pretty sure all of those paint jobs were factory applied on Panthers and King Tigers. A Normady scheme of some kind would be nice, and I would like to know some possible turret numbers and eblems. I've done a lot of research on the net, and still can't find all the answers I'm looking for. One last thing, were there any Panzer IVs that were still solid gray by Normady? I did see one color photo of a F2 in the western front late in the war that was still solid desert yellow.

Just my 2 cents but I really enjoy the odd camo patterns. It seems that most of those were on the Eastern Front. I also enjoy (Though I have yet to do one) the winter cammo. Just do the research and be sure you can get or make the decals.

Enjoy!
