Here are some pics taken by the Norwegians + a on-board from my ES.

Some of the Norwegian people

The Vikings eating take-out pizza for lunch

Mr. icepilot taking a nap

Skygate Hawk

7meter - 21 foot span Fox sailplane with a 18 kg Beohtec turbine strapped on the back

Another pic of the Fox

One of the Swedes has made a log book out of a ventral fin on his MB339

Smoke on!

**** happens...

Tor "icepilot" Landing his 1/6 SM F-16

We strapped a flycameone2 to the fin on my trusty old Eurosport

The cameras view

Un-edited video of a flight with my ES, so ignore the sound....
First half is easy pattern style flying. The second half is more twist and turn + some slow high alpha flying.
Hopefully there will be an edited version soon...

The Elan went down due to radio lock out at the worst possible time during a split-S maneuver.

Cause is beleived to be a combination of a Futaba FASST receiver without some white dot marking, over 30 degC temperatures and receiver baking in the sun prior to the flight.
I don't know much about FASST, but there is supposed to be a known issue with some receivers shutting down in high temperatures. Later receivers have some white dot marking is supossed to be OK in high temps....
