I've got an excelorin sensorless system and I've got some problems I can't figure out. When I turn the ESC on without the radio on it goes to about 1/4 throttle, Turn the radio on and it stops. The problem is that I cannot get the truck to full speed, seems like its half power. I've switched stuff between trucks same deal. Why would it do this?

try switching two wires and then reversing the throttle (only do this if its sensorless, which I believe it is)

First of all, the radio should always be turned on first. Second, did you set up the esc with the radio? You must do this in order to ensure the esc knows what full throttle (both forward and reserve) are.

I'll try that, I'm familiar with the mamba set up I'll have to read on the excelorin. Thanks

That Losi ESC is picky with the TX brand. First always turn on TX first and last to prevent runaway car or truck. Most of the time the throttle channel works best on rev than norm. Plus sometimes I have to use software rev motor rotation setting unless you have bullet connectors to switch wires.
