Flew it today, and takeoffs and landings were great. No squirrel running one direction, then the next moment the other. And with the new engine (Magnum XLS .46) , it flies just fine with no dead stick landings or bogging when accelerating.

Anyone with this plane should replace the stock gear and also do yourself a favor, put a decent engine on it.

Did you remove the Tower .46 engine and replace it with the Magnum .46 ?

I had a GMS .47 engine in it. Maybe the same people (Gemtec?) who make the Tower .46, but not absolutely sure about that. I took it out and replaced it with a Magnum XLS .46 The GMS was schizophrenic for me. On the ground it would scream with power and seem fine, but once I would take off, it would bog in transition, flameout creating deadstick landings, and just not seem to run right in the air. Some people love them but I finally gave up on it with all the frustration it was giving me. The Magnum runs fine, plenty of power and even quieter than I expected. Starts easily with a chicken stick. I'm pleased with it.
