Many are using the product with great reports. I will be using the A123 cells for power and would like to use the FailSafe Switch option. There is a conflict between the manual and the wording on your website. I did a search here and got nothing. Can I use the FailSafe with A123 power? Can I use the FailSafe with Lipo power?

Taken from the website:
When used with NiCd/NiMH battery packs it supports an optional failsafe switch. For detailed information please see the user manual links above the picture.

Taken from the manual:
The Power Expander Pro supports the addition of a failsafe switch
(optional package) for use when batteries are being used without
regulators. The PowerExpander Pro supports 5-cell NiCd or NiMH or
2-cell lithium packs, ion or poly.

Hi,
Basically the website wording is slightly outdated. Its only recently that servos have supported the use of Li-ion/Li-poly directly. You can input any battery pack to all our PowerExpanders as long as the fully charged voltage is less than 8.5V. Sorry for the confusion.
