Status: offline 		When I set a battery up for charge in the manual mode, and hit charge, the 'Nova goes into "BATTERY TEST" or is it "CHECK"...anyway, it will stay there until I hit charge again. Isn't it supposed to check the pack to make sure you put the right info in and then automatically go into the charge mode?

Mine is 2 years old, software version unknown.

Status: offline 		This is the correct way to do things. This mode only comes when you charge NiCd batteries it's a 3 minutes check to see if the charger can put in the current that you have set. This manual mode I only use when I want to slowcharge my battery packs.

Status: offline 		Thanks, 3 minutes I could deal with, but it goes 7-9 minutes before I just go ahead and hit charge.
