GT-Rs are a little bit heavy for track duty, but they are cool cars.. !

Eh what do I know I cant even drive yet 8D
Hoping to get a Renault 5 Turbo for my first car! (It seems crazy, but theyre over 25 years and a ''Classic Vehicle'' so registration is easy, as well as being fairly cheap and can just get one from Mexico :P)

Umm...hooooooookay.
Have fun with your Corolla?

In all seriousness, a Renault 5 Turbo is probably the worst first car one could possibly buy.

The tires are $500+ apiece, they're terrible since they're the exact same tire the car came with and only available from Michelin. Parts are few and far between and extremely expensive, and they likely drive like hell on the street. ThunderbirdJunkie has never seen one in person, and it's doubtful that somebody in Mexico has one...so no matter how well the car seems to suit you on paper, it doesn't suit you on paper for a first car

Hurr durr

Well I plan on buying some kind of Group B/Old rally car as a first :P
Theres quite a few 5's down in mexico for around $500.. crappy but run. Theyre easier to find because they were originally sold there in fairly large numbers. I want to buy it as a track car anyway  (Before i can even drive on the roads)
Its completely unreasonable and unlikely, but I dont care 8D

I've never really cared for Porches. Theyre great, but they (Except the RS) pretty much all look the same. I think my favorite Porsche is an old or new 911 widebody... Like this:

You should seriously go for a Supra. 320 BHP (minus the 10-20 horses it's lost over the years, it would be 300) stock and it looks cool anywhere. Plus, it looks good with any rims.

Um, Renault 5s are not even remotely similar to Renault 5 Turbos.

So, uh, Hurr durr.

MmmMmMmmMMmmm. Love me some Porsche's. My Fav is definitely the GT3-RS.   The white w/ red graphics and red cage and red wheels is still sick.

Did a whole bunch of suspension stuff but did not document that here on this thread... so probably not much left.. but next year I might have the shop drop the engine and weld all the coolant fittings (some people have those popped out).. and while at it, probably do lightweight flywheel and new clutch... (and refresh the hoses and such..)

sweet looking. what engine work have you done? can you up grade the fuel injectors to 90lbs and bump up fuel pressure and reprogram the pcm? we did that plus larger throttle body to buds car made lots more power. over the summer I picked up a engine for my 69 mustang fb 351 cleavland cobra jet 4v 4 bolt mains came from a 72 torino cobra. when your at the track are you speed limited? I was going to do the pocono speed way thing but they limit the speed to 100mph so was thinking might not be worth it, idk maybe this spring.
