Just bought a medium-sized lot of stuff at an estate sale. Some of the stuff I'll keep, the rest needs to go.
One item is looks to be the power head (tank, shroud, pull-starter, etc.. the whole top part) off of a Ryobi 725r weedie, appears new.
I suspect the gentlemen planned to convert it for RC use.
Any guesses as to what it's worth?

regards
Bob

PS My bad should've put in the Conversions forum..
thx

I bought two used for $12.50 each plus shipping so they probably cost $25. You can by a whole weedwacker for $49 at HF. With the new cheap Chinese engines bringing the value of the Ryobi down I'd say $75 at the most.

Seems you cannot hardly give them away at a swap meet. Whole, just the power head, or already converted

I've seen them go on here just the power head for $15-$25, converted on magneto for about $75 to $130

myself unless it's a desirable engine I limit myself to $5...

I get two or three a month given to me for free, even desireable ones.

I have 15-20 Homelites, McCullochs, and Ryobis out in the barn that people have given me. I have more already converted than I'll use up the rest of my life.
