What do you guys think of eliminating this forum and having all the crash pics go into the crash section of the members photo gallery? You can put your pics there with comments and users can also comment on them.

Would this be a better alternative to the forum format in here? Seems having both is redundant...

Opinions and feedback welcome and wanted.

If you have not seen the photo gallery click the link at the top of the page entitled...you guessed it "Photo Gallery"

There are also comments to go allong with the pictures. Since I "discovered" this forum, I visit it often so I don't feel as bad about my close encounters with mother earth!

be aware you can post your comments on the crash and others can reply to them in the gallery as well. the 2 seem redundant a bit so I want to settle on 1 maybe. The photo gallery has thumbnails and captions and other cool stuff which might make it a better format for the crash thread...look at the members gallery as an example as that is filling up rapidly now to get an idea of what is possible..

I like the crash tread. My 2 Cents. Don't want to have to dig. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Sorry to pile on here....but quite often people don't have pictures, and in this forum they can post anyway. I think I can speak for many when I say "We aren't just here for the pictures!".
We are here (among other reasons) to support our fellow flyers in their time of need, to help pilots troubleshoot through crashes, and to aid in the prevention of accidents. This forum will certainly save aircraft and it may even save lives. Please leave it as it is.
