I just bought a Xcelorin 7400kv system for my Mini LST. I just got it installed today and I took it out in my driveway to test it out and it will not go. I pull on the throttle and it runs about a foot then it stops and it repeats that over and over. What do you think the problem is. Everything else is stock.

Here is what I think: I think that the stock battery isn't supplying enough power so it isn't able to run.

What do you think the problem is?

I think it is the battery too, are you sure it is charged?

What kind of battery should I get to replace the old one?

Find a recognised brand (preferably) with as high a discharge rate as you can afford. If you have the opportunity to borrow a better battery try that first. Batteries are sometimes the difference between a win and a loss when you are using high performance motors. With stock motors it does not matter as much.
