Hi George and the rest of the Michigan Jets crew (and you too Burt!),

Ann and I had a great time once again. The flying was fabulous Friday, the fraternizing crazy Saturday, and Sunday, well, lets just say it was wilting. :-)

Had a bit of fun on our way to Gary, Indiana. About an hour out, on I-90, just as we passed some poor soul changing a tire on his travel trailer, one of ours blew out. Quite the bang. Fortunately, no damage (other than the shredded tire.) But man did we sweat changing it. 95, high humidity and bright sunshine is not very conducive to hard physical labour. Reminds me why I like my office job. :-)

Again, thanks for great time, and looking forward to seeing you next year.

Terry should be at E-Jets on Thursday. For those not familiar with the event, it is a must to see and learn about electrict jets. Most of the distributors are present to answer any questions. If you have an electric jet, Foam or high tech thats the place to be and learn.
Good seeing you at Mich. Jets.
Burt

HI all, thanks to George and crew for a very well run event, the Friday night pizza and Saturday night dinner where excellant.
Friday was the day to fly, I got several flights on my Bobcat. Saturday rainned for half the day, so we filled in the time by talking to all the guys that make this hobby great, talk, talk, talk. Lewis has always some thing to say ( great guy).
Sunday was nice, but a little hot, so before we left, we all made plans to come back next year, can't wait.
Thanks Rcpete

Thanks to George (and all the Michigan crew), Curtis, Chris and the rest of the guys that made it a great event. We had a great time on Friday even though we left a little early on Saturday.

Also, thanks to Pete for letting us use his tent space. Looking forward to next year.

Gary, Sandy, and of course Shelby

Great job George over the entire weekend. Thanks to everyone that made it possible. Well organized, and the food was great!

A special thanks to the Flightline crew for making room for me to access the runway with my 13' span U-2.

This is the first year of it's public debut and I enjoyed talking to many folks about it's construction and flying qualities.

Pete,

You are always a class act!  Great to see you again!  The rain Saturday allowed everyone to greet, and have some great conservations under the "Big Top".

I cheated death on the F-4 Sunday in the high winds, and lived to fly another day...That was SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!

Sharonda, the Michigan Jets Crew and I would like to thank you all for coming. I hope you all enjoyed and we can do this again next year without the rain.

Thanks

This was my first trip to Michigan Jets and won't be be my last! Mary and I had a great time!. It's less about the flying and more about the people (especially when it's raining!) I did manage a couple of flights on Friday and on Saturday after the rain. It still was worth the 10 hour drive...you guys are great!!

Chris

George, Sharonda, and the Michigan Jet Crew,
Thank you for a great event. I had a wonderful time. The other guys are right, this event is about a lot more than flying. It is about making new friends, enjoying old ones, and supporting one of the most deserving causes out there in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. You guys did a wonderful job with the event, and even when the weather did not give in, there was still a great time to be had by all. Jets, Fish Stories, Good Food, New Friends, Old Friends, it does not get any better than that. I look forward to next year!

Dorothy, Sparky, and I had a great time!  The event was well organized, and managed by a top line flight crew!  The rain gave us time to laugh and talk about things that matter most to us...our friends.  Much appreciation to US MicroJets for the fantastic dinner.  My steak was fantastic!  Thanks George and crew for a great Michigan Jets!
